This website is run by Hanlon Software Solutions. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website.

Hanlon Software Solutions strives to develop and deploy quality assured and accessible websites within accordance to the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

We are continually reviewing this website to ensure full compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard.

This website is mostly compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines The following are the nonconformities of the website abd why

  • 1.3.1 Info and Relationships
    • The forms on the website have container elements that are left vacated. Issues pertaining to forms are due to be resolved as shown from our development schedule that these have been placed in. A solution for this issue will be implemented on TBD.
  • 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose
    • Across the entire website, there are four instances, that reside within the forms used, whereby the autocomplete feature does not work as intended. As aforementioned, the nonconformities within the forms are due to be fixed as shown by their placement within the development schedule. A solution for this will be implemented on TBD.
  • 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context)
    • There were two instances whereby a link's purpose within a given context was not specified. Forms have been placed within the development schedule and a fix for this issue is due to be deployd on TBD.
  • 4.1.1 Parsing
    • There are numerous instances whereby element IDs are not unique within forms. A solution for this is due to be implemented on TBD.
  • 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
    • The website deviated from this criteria due to there being form fields not being labeled and inline frames without a text alternative. A solution to this particular issue is due to be implemented on TBD.

We regularly carry out accessibility tests on our websites to make sure they are compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. We use Wave and Siteimprove Chrome extension tools to help us identify and fix usability and accessibility issues.
